About this scholarship

Donor: Territory Families

Maximum value: Higher Education $14,000
Vocational Education and Training $2,000

Purpose: To provide financial support to a student who has resettled in Australia as a humanitarian or refugee entrant to undertake study to enhance their employment and leadership outcomes.

Payment: Higher Education student: $1,750 per semester, Vocational Education and Training student: $1,000 per semester

Duration: Higher Education student: Eight (8) semesters, Vocational Education and Training student: Two (2) semesters

Number of Scholarships available: One (1)  Higher Education or Two (2) VET

Eligibility criteria:

  • Must be a past or current Permanent Humanitarian Visa holder
  • Must be a resident of the Northern Territory
  • Must be enrolled in a Vocational Education and Training course (Diploma or Certificate IV)
