A grad training program has been developed, furthermore APM/PM forums throughout the year are also organised.
We have a fairly loose training programme at the moment. Once a month we have a training session preparing us for an assistant project manager role once we finish the grad programme. So far it's been fairly basic, I haven't learned a lot of new skills, but the presenters are always good.
I work with my PD on a daily basis to improve my project management skills. I've learnt many tips and tricks for improving efficiency and understanding contracts.
I do a lot of training which I organise myself to meet my CPD points however the company is very on-board with training whether it be internal or external and often cover the costs and allow the time out of the office. Training is encouraged and suited to each persons availability.
