Application Process & Interviews at Tibra Capital

3 interviews in total following on from 2 online assessments (1 in python, 1 on "general aptitude").

The interview process and assessments are very extensive, but fun to work through.

I made an application and had one interview before I got accepted into the intern role. After that 10 week internship I was offered a grad position starting the following year.

Starting off with some online aptitude tests, then followed by quant and dev interviews which are really enjoyable.

I was asked for examples of times I demonstrated innovation and teamwork as well as why I wanted to work at a place like Tibra. There were also some lateral thinking and estimation puzzles as part of the interview.

Probability and statistics, algorithms and data structures, basic options theory.

Hobby programming in python and/or C++.

Follow the news and think about honest answers to your capabilities.

Have a reasonable understanding of financial markets and make sure you are prepared for some lateral thinking, estimation or fast paced maths questions.

Get decent at coding in either Python and/or C++. You can pass the interviews with just one, but will eventually need to master both on the job. Practice probability questions and data structures questions. Learn about options theory.
