Formal graduate development days with workshops that you can apply when you go back to the office. Facilitated by a professional. A lot of on the job training, you just need a willingness to learn but no one ever says "no", if there is something you want the company and staff are always willing to provide you with that opportunity. Skills I've picked up include communication, project management, stakeholder relationship building, contributing in a supportive environment, technical skills.
As part of the grad program you partake in a number of professional development days which work on goal setting, public speaking, problem solving etc
Development plans are established to create structured learning
Could be better and should be more ingrained
Midlevel, Sydney - excuse me - why are there only two genders below??????
Outside of the graduate program, it is harder to justify taking training programs and opportunities due to the time taken away from work. The graduate program offered training for a wide range of skills, including management, setting goals, presentation skills, giving and handling feedback.
