South32 Graduate Stories

Being a graduate, I have a lot of flexibility to move around and work in different departments, even for a short time just to get the exposure.

The South32 graduate program facilitates well rounded development by exposing us to numerous facets of the business.

In my current role, every day is a surprise. I am often working on multiple projects along with scheduled tasks such as end of month reporting.

The Graduate Program gave me exposure to a number of different areas across the business including some foreign to my own skillset.

During my time as a graduate, I have been given complete accountability and responsibility in every role I have had.

I have enjoyed the technical engineering challenges of my work up to this point but my goal one day is to get the opportunity to lead and manage a team of my own.

I love getting out on the plant and getting my hands dirty – there’s nothing better than seeing the physical results of your hard work.
