We do regular team meetings and huddles at work to update everyone on what is going on in terms of performance and what issues we might be facing. People offer a helping hand to ease the work load of some whom might be swamped in work. Most teams will sit together and socialise while they eat lunch, or go out for lunch. This shows that there is cohesion in the working environment. Some groups will even catch up outside of work hours to do fun activities.
Company culture is light hearted and fun whilst still maintaining a high level of professionalism and work ethic. Outside of office hours the culture is much the same, with many company organised events that let employees unwind and have a good time.
The company has been extremely supportive and welcoming.
The managers are very approachable, and we have team meetings daily to discuss our workload. There are also numerous social events held throughout the year, which are great to socialise with people in other teams.
The culture at Hood Sweeney is very inclusive. There are many different levels of employees from graduates to directors however the directors are very approachable and would spend lots of time each day with their employees. The directors invest a lot of their time in the development of the staff. The culture here is a very hard working culture however if you do the right thing, you will get rewarded in many different ways. It is also a very fun working environment with many social events scheduled throughout the year.
Everyone is happy to have a chat no matter what service line they are from, everyone is cooperative and teamwork is key. Outside of hours people regularly catch up and I am personally friends with many people from different service lines which is a testament to the friendly culture here.
