Direct managers are very helpful and supportive
Immediate managers are very accessible and are great mentors. Graduates are also assigned a mentor not in their team when they start the program to help them in the early stages of their career. Higher managers communicate via Workplace (Facebook for the workplace) and often present live streams to help employees feel more engaged.
Although management is always very busy, they make continued effort to engage with all persons (graduates, field staff, junior and senior colleagues). Their interactions and accessibility were expanded during COVID. I particularly appreciated the regular interactive livestreams presented by management. In the graduate program, we are given an official mentor. This colleague takes a great deal of pride in helping you start out your career in the best possible way. They do not undertake this role for personal gains, but rather truly care about your development.
Great, each grad even has a mentor
My managers have been very effective in setting expectations, and mentoring.
All the manager I have had are great at performance plans and feedback. They are great mentors and all have amiable dispositions.
Supportive of employees and happy to provide advice.
They usually want you to achieve the best that you can. They will try and align development opportunities for you to grow.
